We arrive on site at an appropriate time allowing sufficient time for the display to be prepared ready for the required firing time. This is usually several hours before the designated firing time, on the day of the display.

The shells are launched from mortar tubes which are secured in racks and anchored to the ground, these are angled away from the spectators.

Some parts of the display are launched electronically. Each shell is connected with wire that is then connected to the launch panel, placed 20-30 meters away.

Setting up a show

These two pictures show the team installing the three banks of ariel shell launchers and the wiring that is used to launch them.

Even the Great British weather does not halt the display. We cover all the fireworks with waterproof coverings to keep them from rain and even damp that occurs in the evening.

Even when dealing with the large ground fireworks, they need to be securely fastened to stakes driven into the ground.
